We Must Do Better

I said it on twitter and I'll say it again! EDUCATION IS KEY! It makes NO SENSE that 48% of black males are graduating from high school. 48%??? Are you shittin me? I swear I almost shitted bricks when I saw this on WorldStarHipHop. It makes no sense that there are more black men in Jail than in College, and even worse, there are more black teens that WANT out of the hood being killed everyday! We must do better!

Remember this young man? 16 years old, honor student, on his way to college EARLY. His life was taken in the blink of an eye. WHY CANT WE SEE SITUATIONS LIKE YOUNG DERRION ALBERT'S AND DO BETTER! WHY! INSTEAD OF BANGIN, SLANGIN, AND GETTIN HIGH EVERYDAY, GO READ A BOOK! GO STUDY BIOLOGY, GO GOOGLE SOMETHING IMPORTANT! WHY CANT WE JUST DO BETTER?
