Harpo Winfrey Bans the B-Word

Harpo apparently has some rules for her long awaited OWN network. Look for "fun and entertainment without tearing people down and," she stresses, "calling them bitches." Not exactly an outright ban on the b-word -- but close. "Imagine that. Imagine," she said in a speech this week at the Women's Conference in California, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The network launches in January, and she says that despite her success, leaving her talk show to "start out on this next chapter" will still be difficult. "I know there's going to be some stumbles," she said at the event. "I know I'm a work in process and progress. I know nothing new is perfect, but I'm not scared. I'm not afraid." Well congrats Harpo! I'm proud of you. And its good that you want more self respect on your network. Besides, people are going to watch Harpo's network simply because its Harpo!
